Various styles of optical transmission system are available for use on turning centers. Each system is
functionally similar. All may be turned on and off via an M-code, or turned on via an M-code and turned off via an internal timer settable to 33 or 134 seconds.
All lathe transmission systems require an LP2 or LP2H probe. The primary differences between the lathe
transmission systems are shown below: |
