The NC1 is a laser based tool setting system designed for the
harshest machine tool environments. The system uses a laser source and CNC resident macros to set tool length and diameter and perform broken tool detection cycles. The NC1 can also be used to check for missing or broken inserts, verify the form of a tool and monitor a machine's thermal drift.
NC1 is available in fixed or separate configurations. Fixed
systems have the laser transmitter and receiver attached to a single mounting beam. Separate systems are supplied with discrete transmitter and receiver units and are designed to be mounted independently. |

Note: When ordering a fixed system retrofit kit, the
customer must select an NC1 based on its operating range. In addition, the customer must select tool setting software based on the control type. Brackets and an adjusting method are also needed for NC1 separate systems. These are not included with the NC1 separate systems and must be ordered additionally. Mounting brackets for various machines are continually developed. Bracket installation is NOT included with the standard separate system retrofit price, this service can be quoted upon request. |
